Antrim Castle Gardens

Free to the public - Antrim Castle Gardens is an historical local gem. The 400 year old gardens are unique in Northern Ireland and a recent multi-million restoration project has now preserved this historic site for future generations. Visitors to the Garden can stroll around the magnificent setting, visiting features such as the Large Parterre, Her Ladyship’s Pleasure Garden and Yew Tree Pond. Within the heart of the Gardens is a unique visitor experience, the refurbished Clotworthy House, which houses a Garden Heritage Exhibition explaining the history of the Gardens and the story of the Massereene family. It provides a fantastic opportunity to learn about the garden history and how the lives of family members intertwine with the development of Antrim town and the surrounding areas.
